The Vari-COOL 44 is a system developed for mega farms using double up or large rotary milking systems up to a 100 bails. The unit has a split evaporative circuit that allows the system to provide chilling redundancy so if one circuit fails the secondary can continue to chill milk to a set temperature slightly greater than the usual. Twin variable speed circuits provide up to a 165 kW outputs. The Vari-COOL 44 has a separate buffer tank and pump station typically housed in the dairy plant room. All system can be monitored online through an Ethernet connection. Hot water production can be as high as 800 litres per hour under full load.

The Vari-COOL 36 is the larger of our twin compressor systems. This unit is sized to fit larger format farms with greater than 1000 cows but more specifically operating a rotary milking platform of 70+ bails. It will chill up to 4 bulk milk tanks, snap chill to 6 degrees and can generate up to 600 litres per hour of hot water as heat recovery.

The Vari-COOL 29 is the first and smaller of our twin compressor systems. It is sized to fit a larger format farm with greater than 1000 cows using rotary milking platforms of between 60 to 70 bails. They chill up to 4 bulk milk tanks, snap chill to 6 degrees and can generate up to 600 litres per hour of hot water as heat recovery.

The Vari-COOL 22 is the unit that represents our biggest selling system. It is sized to fit 600 to 1,000 cow farms using rotary milking platforms of between 50 to 60 bails. They chill up to 4 bulk milk tanks, snap chill to 6 degrees and can generate up to 500 litres per hour of hot water as heat recovery.

The Vari-COOL 18 and Vari-COOL 22 are the units that represent our biggest selling systems. They are sized to fit 600 to 1,000 cow farms using rotary milking platforms of between 40 to 50 bails. They chill up to 4 bulk milk tanks, snap chill to 6 degrees and can generate up to 500 litres per hour of hot water as heat recovery.

Vari-COOL Junior

The Vari-COOL Junior is designed to snap chill milk on smaller scale dairy farms but still contains the same functionality as the larger Vari-COOL systems. It can chill up to 2 bulk milk tanks and produces 280 litres per hour of hot water as heat recovery. Typically we would expect this to be fitted to either a Herringbone or Rotary platform between 30 to 40 bails with the optimum being a 400 cow 36 bail herringbone dairy shed for this unit.

The Vari-CHILL range is designed to help the farmer meet the cooling regulations and is more suited for retrofits or new installations on smaller farm platforms. It provides a cost effective alternative to chilling milk but without the complete value proposition of the Vari-COOL. It is not only a pre-cooling solution that runs during milking or when used as a water chiller but this unit will also chill up to 2 vats. This tidy little unit has the value propositions of a Vari-COOL, including high grade heat recovery but without the connectivity and data logging functions.
